Follow the link here for the complete list.

5. How many ventilators will I need on my roof?

Broadly speaking a standard ventilator (250mm or 300mm neck) will quite comfortably service up to 90m2 of roof space. The average suburban property will be more than happy with 2 ventilators. For a quote click here.

6. What batts are best for me?

Depending on your geographical location there may be some differences in which product is best suited to your needs but as a general rule the areas we service require an R3.5 rated insulation material. Most regional and shire council BASIX requirements stipulate than an R3.0 rated material is to be used in the ceiling and R1.5 rated material for the external walls in new dwellings.

7. I have been given a pot belly/wood oven and I want to fit it with a flue pipe. How much will this cost?

As a general rule you should start by budgeting with the expectation of spending around $650.00 (inc GST). In most cases the cost is less, but in cases where the complete (or majority) kit is required you can expect to pay around the $650.00 mark.

With regards to advice, our company only offers the sale of fire, heater and oven related goods. We do not advise or certify  the installation of flue pipes or any other related hardware, quite simply we are not qualified to do so. Our company does not and will not at any time make representations or remarks regarding such practices. For advice on installation please refer to the Australian Standards manual or a qualified tradespersons only.

10. My neighbours are noisy what can I do?

We have a number of noise reduction materials available for purchase. It is also worth noting that noise pollution problems are generally more expensive and labour intensive problems to solve than any other. 14. My property has a mould problem what can I do?

Most mould problems in properties can be traced back to water pooling in the sub floor or basement. Edmonds Ecofan is the best response to a problem such as this. Installing a roof ventilation system complete with under eave vents to facilitate fresh air intake also helps.

15. What is the difference between CSR Bradfords Glasswool batts and competitors 'pink' batts?

In terms of composition and materials used in manufacturing Bradford glasswool batts and competing brand 'pink' batts there is very little difference. Most glasswool products when manufactured appear a browny yellow colour. The manufacturers of pink batts inject a pink dye into the mix during manufacturing in order to make the product stand out in the market place. The pink finish is purely an aesthetic difference for marketing.

16. Can you organise a freight company for me?

Yes we can. We will pack the goods and have them ready for dispatch once payment has cleared ( for non account customers). Interstate and international freight charges are priced on application and will be quoted before payment is processed. We utilise private courier companies and the Australia post network when sending goods interstate or internationally. In the near future we hope to be able to offer a comprehensive pricing guide for this service.
